No one walking the dementia journey has to walk alone.

Individuals and organizations that support Dementia-Friendly Communities of Northern Colorado

Dementia-Friendly Communities of Northern Colorado® is currently a grassroots, volunteer initiative started in November, 2015. The initiative is supported by private sponsors.  We became a non-profit organization in January, 2017.

We are grateful for these collaborative impact partners who have made it possible for folks walking the dementia journey to remain safe and active in their community, by supporting our trainers who are working directly with local businesses and city and county entities on best practices.

Big Thank You's to:

We invite new sponsors who are aligned with this initiative to support us.  We accept individual donations of any amount to help us with this effort. We make collaborative impact partnership simple by asking for a $1000+ annual corporate or personal donation.  In return, we will include a link and logo of your business on this page, as well as acknowledge you in our end of year community reporting and celebrations.  Contributions are used to pay for:

  • Dementia awareness and educational materials.
  • Website maintenance
  • Special dementia-friendly projects and events
  • Promotion of Northern Colorado dementia-friendly activities and programs locally, nationally, and internationally
  • Memory cafe entertainment, supplies, and expenses
